    PTFE(Poly Tetra Fluoro Ethylene)

    What is PTFE? PTFE material description and characteristics
    PTFE stands for polytetrafluoroethylene and is a synthetic fluorocarbon-based polymer.
    Using PTFE’s mechanical properties are low comparing to other plastics over a wide temperature range of -100°F to +400°F.
    It has excellent thermal and electrical insulation properties and a low coefficient of friction.
    By adding fillers, PTFE’s mechanical properties become stronger.
    These fillers include glass fibers, carbon, graphite, molybdenum disulphide, and bronze.
