What is " PTFE "?
PTFE is a kind of engineering plastic, full name is Poly Tetra Fluoro Ethylene, with a wide working temperature range (-180ºC to +260ºC), low friction coefficient, excellent electrical properties, high corrosion resistance and non toxic and so on, and can be made with filled (reinforced) materials, such as glass fiber, graphite and bronze, to improve the properties.
PTFE is widely used as sealing gasket and lubricating materials in corrosive media, electrical insulation parts, corrosion resistant materials under various frequencies, bearing, valves, chemical piping, lining in theelectrical, chemical, aerospace and machinery fields, and support slider, etc.
PTFE 's properties:
AN INCREDIBLY VERSATILE MATERIAL WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF APPLICATIONS
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene.
Being hydrophobic, non-wetting, high density and resistant to high temperatures, PTFE is an incredibly versatile material with a wide variety of applications, though it's perhaps best-known for its non-stick properties.
